Book writing is to write a fiction or non-fiction book. Before the writing commences, it is vital that the
writer already has certain ideas for the book and is willing to commit to the actual process of creating a piece of literary work. Also necessary is a general outline in which the
writer can convey his or her ideas in order.
Next is to
work on each section of the outline, usually in the form of a chapter. Decide what is to be said in each chapter and gather supporting details around it. When doing the actual writing, include everything relevant in that chapter and only start
editing when the whole chapter is completed. As the first draft is never perfect, constant reviewing and rewriting various parts of the chapter is necessary and helps further clarify the writer’s ideas.
When all the chapters are completed, it is important that the writer reads them in sequence as an editor at least once. More details can be added to something that he or she previously thought was finished, and things that are not necessary or too lengthy can be removed. Have an objective
editor read the whole book and provide further critiques.
